In sectional reverse-blow bag filters, to guarantee uninterrupted operation during the dust-cleaning cycle, the dust collector is partitioned into multiple small chambers. Cleaning is executed by sequentially halting the air supply to each chamber for reverse-blowing. When partitioning chambers, single - row configurations are adopted for dust collectors with 4 to 8 chambers. For those featuring 6 to 20 chambers, double - row arrangements are implemented.
Layout Planning of Filter Bag Chambers

1.Filtration Area Requirement:

The layout of filter bag chambers must primarily satisfy the filtration area requirements. Once the sufficiency of the filtration area is ensured, the focus shifts to arranging filter bags in a space-efficient manner. This is achieved while maintaining excellent accessibility for maintenance, effectively minimizing the footprint.

2.Inter-bag Spacing

  • For φ200mm diameter filter bags, the center to center distance ranges from 250 to 280 mm.

  • For φ250mm diameter filter bags, the center to center distance ranges from 300 to 350 mm.

  • For φ300mm diameter filter bags, the center to center distance ranges from 350 to 400 mm.

3.Number of Filter Bag Rows

The number of filter bag rows is determined by the diameter of the filter bags. When a maintenance aisle is positioned in the middle of the bag chamber:

  • For φ200 mm diameter filter bags, the number of rows typically does not exceed three.

  • For φ300mm diameter filter bags, the number of rows does not exceed two.

When maintenance aisles are provided on both sides of the bag chamber, four or six rows of filter bags can be installed. The number of filter bags per horizontal row can be determined according to specific project requirements.

4.Maintenance Aisle Dimensions: The width of the maintenance aisle generally ranges from 300 to 600 mm. This dimension represents the clear distance between filter bags or the clear distance from filter bags to the wall panel.

The layout of rectangular filter bag chambers is depicted in Figure 3-55. Figure 3-55(a) features only side aisles, while Figure 3-55(b) incorporates both central and side aisles.
